Great cars + people - good night all in

Doing a monthly meet is a good idea - how about Sunday afternoon/evening with a bit of a drive for those that want it

Hi All

A great turn out of 22 cars last night ,(not including the White Orion that tried to join in) mostly Impreza, 2 Legacy, a Integra, a Celica with some fancy HUD but not a single MY01. Are the Cov drivers not a fan of the MY01? The 330D BMW looked remarkably like a 22B.

I have a few jpeg and mpeg of the evening to post. But you will have to be patient as I have to read the other threads on posting pics first.

Anyone else with any pics ? there were a few cameras around.

There was talk of a regular Cov meet say once a month.

Anybody interested ?

What's the best day for everyone? e.g. last Sunday evening of the month, etc

Cheers

Neal

Hi Neal,

Was really good to meet up last night, and I know we were all pleasantly surprised at the number of cars that turned up. 22 is a serious number of cars, especially on a school night

Would be good to make it a monthly thing, and I guess that with more warning, even more people might show.

See you all again in September!

Matt

PS, It's amazing what you can do to a 330D with a bit of a body kit and some blue paint! LOL

Top night with a good drive on the way there. Make it a monthly thing and the crowd will grow, judging by last nights turn out. Maybe organize a night drive, there are some excellent roads around there.

And a nice relaxing drive in the country

Hi guys, what a great turn out, and it was good to meet all of you.

A monthly meet would be great, so we will see you all in September.

22 cars was very good, not to mention the 5 car mini meet at McDonalds afterwards - 2 events for the price of one

Hey it worked ! this is easy peasy.

The rest of the pics are in the dark as I got carried away chatting to you lot.

See if you can spot the heavily modded BMW 330 D.

Heres one for Tiny Tim

Anyone else got any pics ?

Please post any suggestions for the next cov area meet.

Possible Date

Sunday 30th September

Possible location

The Bull at Meriden (approx 3 miles from NEC off the A45). Nice pub with a beer garden running alongside a large tarmac car park.

Anybody else with any suggestions

Cheers

Neal

Neal,

Sounds good, but there will be a number of us at the Nurburgring over that weekend. You'll only be a few cars down though, so wouldn't want to discourage the meet. Will definitely be up for the one in October mind you!

Cheers

Question

Do any of the 22 attendees of the COV meet fancy coming to Wales for the weekend of 8/9-Sep-2001?
