SM1 - Thank You

Quick word of thanks on my behalf to all who attended for making it a success.
It makes my job a hell of a lot easier.
It was good to see Stef , Harj , Firefox and the others at the Middle Bell.
Special Thanks to group leaders Robman , ChrisP and Richard Askew who kept the groups together and going the right way.
Huge thanks to Daz, Fran and all staff @ Middle Bell for looking after us so well.
Hope the curry was good.

How ironic all four WRX's parked together on the car park at The Middle Bell.
Must be a social outcast if you own one!
I still they are great cars but bloody ugly, even mine.
Thanks to Neil and every one who was involved in organising the day, a fantastic event.
Cheers

Neil, Robman,
thanks for organising a great day. We can't tell you if the curry was any good as we ended up finishing off the food at a christening It was good to put faces to so many names.
Thanks,
Martin.

Cheers Neil and Robman who made it a highly enjoyable day and a great turnout. It was obvious a lot of work went into the planning and everyone I spoke to enjoyed it.
The only downside for me is that boomer has his pictures on the web before me .
Mine are up and working I think

Neil, many thanks for the hard work you put into this event and for the discrete warnings. Lip spoiler was still there last time I looked
Also to Richard who led a "controlled" run out, (every picture tells a story ) with due deference to horses cyclists and a herd of cows. No Michell, I mean the black & white ones with four legs!
Todays moment to remember, a young lad racing along the footpath when we stopped a the road works yelling to his sister "look FIVE Imprezas"
Thanks to everyone for making it worth attending.

Great meet thanx for organising it Neil.
Robman would have lead the group on the first stage if his navigator (me) hadn't turned him off on the wrong turning!!! Fortunately I knew that area and managed to re-direct back....meeting the rest of the groups coming the other way!!!!!! Sorry But great drive
Next I jumped in and navigated for Richard Askew, though I am sure the hedge wasn't on the pace notes.........I gasped a little on the "moment" but was very thankful you teased the beast back on the straight and narrow!!!! Great drive again!!
Great to see new faces at the pub Middle Bell, excellent hospitality from them.
After the run, M_D_B, ChrisB, Michael Townend (super slider ) and myself decided to go for a little run before getting a curry.
However, on the road out to Uttoxeter I got sidetracked by a P1 and Mitsi Evo V sitting in the car park of a pub. We stopped and decided to find out who it was......"Anybody own that P1 or Evo????"
We found out it was owned by a guy with the username Brad. After a quick chat he invited us in to join the christening party!!!!!!
Great food and a rather large portion of trifle for a Mr Townend !!!!!
Thanx for the hospitality Brad, look forward to seeing you on the next run.
Altogether it was a fantastic day and I am looking forward to SM2
After the ride in Michael's 01, I am slowly being drawn to it, mainly because of its fantastic ability to slip the back end out rather than the dreaded understeer Great fun
Michelle.

Top day out - cheers to ChrisP for the ride. Big thanks to Neil and Robman for sorting out a good run with excellent directions. Thumbs up for the folks at the Middle Bell - not often the management come and inspect the cars.
Hello to Brad and thanks for inviting us inside for some top grub - hope to see the P1 at SM2. Felt very strange gatecrashing somebody else's party! Had to laugh when Michelle accosted the wrong bloke in the Beer Garden thinking he was the P1 owner!
My photo's are at

Hey Chelle, you never mentioned trifle before we left
Anyway, slowly drawn is the right phrase. I was told 01s were reason the for the third and second groups converging

It wasn't an exactly planned stop.
more like...."look a P1"
"Shall we stop to see who it is"
"okay"
<slamming on of brakes and handbrake turn>
It escalated from there.......we got invited in and a banquet was laid out. What a feast
It was brill.....thanks again Brad

What a top day!
Glad you all enjoyed it and that we had no big offs or any other incidents, despite the odd police car going the other way - thanks to everyone for being on their best behaviour!
Middle Bell was great, and very nice food indeedy. Thanks to Daz and Fran.
Thanks to Neil for taking on the challenge of realising/formalising my route!! The organisation was truly top notch. No qualms whatsoever. I think the group spacing worked out pretty well too.
Thanks to MichelleWRX1994 and Matt Oz for navigating (or something Michelle...).
Loved every minute

Hi Jon
The car did look good and the MY01 is growing on me slowly.
Roll Cage - Couldn't you guess from the registration and CossieKiller emblazoned down the wing. ?
I appreciate you are new to the board but the chap you need to speak to is Stef - SIDC Motorsport Geezer.
ChrisB - Give me a chance mate

Neil,
Thanks for organising a great day out! I'll try and bring my own transport next time!
RichA - You're a ****! That's the last time I'm navigating for you! LOL
Thanks to the Middle Bell. Cracking lunch. Made the whole trip worthwhile! Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for the run, a lot of preparation must have gone into that, with packs for each car. The rollercoaster bit was fun, glad I wasn't in front as I'd probably have took off. Would have stayed longer but mine and girlfriends fathers day had to be seen to. See you all on the neat meet.
