Now listen here you young sprog.........................
But seriously, I'm 52 always had fast(ish) cars loved the scooby from day one but never thought I could afford one. Now I have a 01 WRX and I love it, even the wife is encouraging me to mod it (a bit) and I still drive it fast in spite of the accident. GO FOR IT

Ho ho!! I was 43 when I first test drove a Scoob - and within 3 months found the one I wanted. A neighbour down the road said "a bit voom-voom, isn't it?" , and another had just bought his "2nd-childhood" fast car too!!
So, matey, get it now.

Have the best of both worlds
I have the Golf GT TDi 150bhp Diesel for the daily work trips (modified to 195bhp/285lbft ) and the Spec C for the weekends and track trashing (when it's finished). I have to say, that the Golf has been one of the few cars that costs naff all to run, but everytime I want a buzz I can by just putting my foot down (ok... not in the same league as my Scooby, but you get the drift)...... imho they are awesome cars (we know the Scooby is, but i'm on about the Golf here lol).
If your chopping in the Golf, you WILL miss it!
Regards,
Shaun.
