Here is an email just received:
They dont seem to have any structure for the Dyno runs? Doesnt mention 1st come, 1st served or 1st registered, 1st served.
Wont be going unless I know I'll get on the rollers

Thank you for registering for Powerstation's open day.
As many of you will know we have now moved into our new premises. To celebrate this we have decided to throw our doors open and invite performance car enthusiasts from around the country to come and visit. The day will include:
Free dyno runs in our new dyno 'cell' will be carried out throughout the day. We will run as many cars as possible but will have to cease running at 17.00. The running order will be decided on the day by POWERSTATION. More 'interesting' cars will get preference and we will try to run as many different types as possible.
We will demonstrate an Ecutek re-map on a 2006 Impreza, to show the amazing difference this mod can make. We'll also be able to talk people through the benefits of the new Ecutek Mitsubishi Evo software.
Dents Plus will be on site all day to help with any body work problems.
A number of our suppliers will be present displaying their latest products.
Litchfield Imports will have the latest 2006 Impreza STI / Spec C and Forester STI available for viewing.
And not forgetting a burger van will also be on site throughout the day serving tea, coffee and food.
Directions to our new premises can be found on our website: www.powerstation.org.uk.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

bit ****ty that really.. quote "well give the most interesting cars preference" so what do we think thats going to be then....er lets think.....oh I know..the type 25s.....followed by the s202s followed by the spec cs..and allllllll the Litchfield import stuff including their new type 25...............im beginning to think its not worth it actually......to be honest Im not that impressed with Powerstation anyway...........had a wagon last year which had a knock once all the whiteline stuff had been put on including the eibachs. they couldnt even detect that it was the whiteline drop links knocking, when I took it back after travelling 162 miles they were just pissed off with me, it took Roger Clark Motorsport to sort the chassis out, even the geom set up was crap from Powerstation.....I really rate Roger Clark Motorsport.
oops drifted a bit there, well I suppose taking an STi9 2 months old with PPP isnt going to get a look in at Powerstation..............is it worth it... I dunno...then again my little lad would enjoy it I suppose...give me a chance to look at the new ugly Scoob front end, god what a howler!.....then again Im sure the the new Impreza will sell more Seats, and Alfas than any other car.........why does Subaru get it so wrong every time.....I think the next ones going to have to be a Mitsi

I think that front is a grower. Seen it in the flesh and it wasn't so bad. Whether the STI can tempt me from my S is a different matter. I will have to see on the day!

Chirst.... some people are never satisfied!!!
I'm sure if anyone thinks that PS's approach to the FREE rolling road places is wrong, then I am sure they would be eager to reason with the moaners - NOT!
"Yes Sir... sorry about that, how can we alter it to make sure your FREE dyno run is as painless as possible for YOU?"
Jeese.... some people need to get out more!
BTW.... I'm first on the rollers!!!
Regards,
Shaun.

Cheers for that Shaun, Just what I was about to say too.
If your that hacked of with us Nick, perhaps it would be best if you didn't bother coming along.
As for Saturday I have been designated the organiser of said FREE dyno runs.
Perhaps someone here doesn't like me? So what I say goes.
The current plan is to have everyone who wants a run on the day sign a disclaimer, from that we can see what cars want to run and we can group them together into their respective makes and models.
We dont want clubs of one particular make hogging the dyno though so places will be limited in that respect.
Basically as the bosses wrote above, we want to see a bit of variety to keep as many of you as intereested as possible from all different corners of the car tuning world.

You can understand where he is coming from. Some people will be travelling quite far to attend the event and to have their cars RR'd. Probably best if those people would be better off going to a normal RR event to avoid dissapointment.
Thats what I'll be doing as its too much of a gamble to drive that far with the possiblity of getting on/not getting on.
All IMO
