Police in Skoda shock ;-)
Was out today at lunchtime, going past the Police "depot" near junction 14 M40, and there was a Focus RS pulled over, with an unmarked light blue Skoda cop-car behind him. I think it was the Octavia VRS model.
I might have got "done" too, as along the stretch to the M40 north (60 limit) there was a white van doing 40... Checked that there was nothing coming - all was clear, and overtook it. As I was slowing down to pull back in again, I noticed a camera van further up the road.
What are the rules on this? I was probably over the limit for a couple of seconds as I was going past the van, then back to about 55 when I pulled back in. Do they allow "speeding" when overtaking?

no they dont. Speeding is speeding
how fast was you going when over taking?
its it anything like my speedo compared to the GPS speedo you might have been speeding.

The van was a big Merc Sprinter sized one. Didn't have the usual markings of "Safety Van" or any camera markings... With 4 black windows in the back.
The only thing (and I'm praying now) is that at the end of the road, there was another police car (marked) parked up waiting. Which is what they normally do for plate checks isn't it? The van checks the car for tax / insurance etc and the car at the end of the road pulls you if you've not up to date.
