Chesterfield Meet - Jan 2005
Decided to start a new post as the Chesterfield Scoobies title didnt exactly let you know a meet was being organised.
Those of you who have already signed up, dont worry as I have copied the list onto here.
The Details :-
Sunday 16th January meet at the Winsick Arms, Hasland Road, Chesterfield for about 11.30am - 12pm. Then onto Fox House for around 1-1.30pm ( they are going to arrange an area for us nearer the time ). After some light refreshment we are going to have a drive back to Chesterfield via Bakewell and Darley Dale.
Anyone needing directions please let me know.

5. Ubik in his MY01 go kart
6. Daft Lad (attempting foolishly to keep up!!
7. CHEESY (hope it is easy as i'll be running the new motor in)

9. CharlieWhiskey(Work permitting)
10 . Peccy (if RA is ready)
11 . wheelie_sti & Ali (should have the TSL kit on by then, woohoo)
12. team kosoku

At last someone gets something started for the new year 
,Cheers Chewy for putting name down, Daftlad why didn't you call that pub the scoobies,instead of that Mitsubishi motor

Map to Winsick Arms
Please find map as promised. If anyone thinks the may have problems finding the place (mentioning no names), pm me and I will give you my mobile no.
General directions :-
From M1 J29, follow A617 towards Chesterfield, leave at first slip road signposted hasland and temple normanton. At top of slip road turn left about 100/150 yards down the road there is a left hand bend with a junction on the right, take this right signposted hasland. Follow this road ( see if you can get the slow down sign to flash you, lol ) until come to the roundabout. Winsick Arms is straight across.
From Chesterfield follow the A617 towards the motorway (dont come off at the slip road immediately after the derby road/bryan donkin roundabout, signposted hasland) carry on to the next junction, at top of slip road, turn right and then follow directions as above

Work related stuff is ok, nice and easy. Residential streets are a nightmare!

The pub is where it says PH @ Winsick although I did have to check with the oracle

We used to go to the New Inn at Winsick (When I were a lad) and I couldn't remember which pub was which.
This is the one on the corner by the 'new' Grassmoor link road roundabout.
Spent a pleasurable day "in tarn" yest'd'y, Chrimbo shopping with me mum. The old place is looking quite nice these days!

Yes I got it a couple of weeks ago!! Still running it in!!! 4000 rpm max?? But it feels so much better to my 02 STi. Ordered the PPP fot it today for when it get's it's first service 1000 miles. So i doubt it'll be run in for the meet but I'll tag along at the back driving slowly as per usual!!!
