Default Chesterfield Mag/Fanzine

Hello Chesterfield,
Thought i'd start a new thread and get some ideas from you all on this local mag/fanzine. I would like to take this on if no one has any objections to me doing it. I should be able to get this done with minimal costs as i can get all the paper for free etc. I was thinking of just knocking the first issue out at home (with maybe a nice glossy cover printed at work) to see how it goes, and if it takes off i will see if my boss is feeling generous enough for us to get the whole thing printed proffesionally. If i stick a nice big full page advert for our printers in, i'm sure that will sweeten him up!
Anyhoo..let me know your ideas and I will get the ball moving.
Later.......Team Kosuku

some ideas, let me think, well you could have pics of recent meets, up and coming events, readers cars, info on new products for your cars, maybe a review on someones car that has just had some new mods, eerrr thats all i can think of at the moment.

Dare say scoobyclinic will give you some work in progress/major mods etc
As long as you give em some major free advertising
Readers car features(not readers wifes, before any confusion sets in)
Local and national meets, classified section, new products
Oh and dont forget a centrefold,i.e scoob with naked bird draped on the bonnet

Personally i would prefer a naked bloke draped over the scoob, or better still we could do one on those tastefully naked charity calanders, wonder how many blokes would put their name down for that one.

yeah, thought about scooby clinic for a regular feature on tech/work in progress/new products etc.
Also we could do with a name so i can get started on layout etc. The only one I've come up with so far a simple one...'FLAT FOUR'
Or maybe something like 'FULL BOOST'..though i dont want to alienate our sport owning friends!

Like the speed camera idea! Have a map with all the local speed cameras and regular mobile spots.
if there are no objections we will go with 'FLAT FOUR' for now then.

Thanks for the idea Si. If you fancy writing the article yourself that would be great. I would like as many of you as possible to please start sending in material. First off would be photos of you and your scoob, with as much info about yourself and your car as possible. You know model, mods, history, dyno sheets etc + your name(real and scoobynet) interests, previous cars, etc just as much as you can.
Please send it all to........flatfour.mag@tesco.net
If you havn't got digital cameras then come to the next meet and we'll do some snappin'.
Cheers.....team kosoku

I'm not sure that the drive from eaton farm to chesterfield would be printable!!. Good fun tho!!!!
This mag sounds like it could be good. If i work out how to send you pictures, I'll send some of mine in. It's pretty humble, especialy in the company it was in on sunday. But the more the merrier i suppose.
