fancy a drive to skegness next saturday night????
yer you did read right!!! i know its the wrong time of year we`re just out for the drive really and a bit of a laugh on the way(u know how it is) main reason was to start with one mates got about 200miles to go before his scoobies fully run in after rebuild,and daz another mates just got his pulsar gtir back after gearbox rebuild and he wants to test that its ok.But now our other mates have found out and they`re comin, so if your around the east midlands and fancy comin catch me or "gti-r" daz on here. so far a few scoobies, golf mk2 1.820vturbo,dazs pulsar,maybe a couple of saph cossies got a few more to contact yet should b quite funny tho!!!!!

guess the gti-r will be me then but anyone who wants to tag along is quite welcome this is my car as it has developed

Daz, the car looks really nice. Seems a good job well done.
Question on the A-pillar instruments; do these deform/break away if you were to have an accident? Don't wish that on you but I have always wandered how safe these things are if your head were to impact the pillar in a worst case scenario?

the a pillar pod is a direct replacement for the original oem one but obviously with the two 'pod holes' for your gauges so basically you take the old cover off and the new ones clip back in as a whole unit if you understand. and to be honest if you were to have an accident your seat belt and/or harness would stop ypu from hitting these if they are fitted correctly

I'm interested in the travel. Sounds like a good laugh. I've never been to a meet so it will be new to me. What time are you thinking of getting underway and where you meeting up.

Will more than likely be leaving mansfield around 8pm nxt sat night as most of our mates are from round there,as for meeting places let us know where your comin from but around newark would be ok,will sort times,places out in the week, as for the moment daz`s car is still to be put bk together however he`s expectin it bk tues or wednesday so will give definates then.
