fancy a drive to skegness next saturday night????

yer you did read right!!! i know its the wrong time of year we`re just out for the drive really and a bit of a laugh on the way(u know how it is) main reason was to start with one mates got about 200miles to go before his scoobies fully run in after rebuild, and daz another mates just got his pulsar gtir back after gearbox rebuild and he wants to test that its ok.But now our other mates have found out and they`re comin, so if your around the east midlands and fancy comin catch me or "gti-r" daz on here. so far a few scoobies, golf mk2 1.820vturbo,dazs pulsar, maybe a couple of saph cossies got a few more to contact yet should b quite funny tho!!!!!

Daz, the car looks really nice. Seems a good job well done.

Question on the A-pillar instruments; do these deform/break away if you were to have an accident? Don't wish that on you but I have always wandered how safe these things are if your head were to impact the pillar in a worst case scenario?

Cheers.

the a pillar pod is a direct replacement for the original oem one but obviously with the two 'pod holes' for your gauges so basically you take the old cover off and the new ones clip back in as a whole unit if you understand. and to be honest if you were to have an accident your seat belt and/or harness would stop ypu from hitting these if they are fitted correctly

on the other hand if the original one would break away then this one would too as they are mounted in the same way if you understand what i mean ??
