Dazza,
I ran into Burnside in the bog just before we resumed play. Briefly said hello in passing - he's looking a little more tired than in the picture above though. Still, he's just as you'd expect when off duty
Kev
Marv /Paul,
Excellent day. Thanks for taking the time to organise it! Was a superb run and although in the 1st half our group wasn't going flat out, its was nice to keep in contention with the TSL motors especially Trouser's 22B ( @ Paul).
The second half was good although we did the majority of it on our own and in the fading light and foggy conditions (ooooh eerie). Hope G/flag got the other two chaps home quickly and safely. Hope to see 'em back on the road a.s.a.p.
Dave (i8gtmf),
I heard that copper sat you in a dark room and shone a bright light in your face in a desperated bid glean info about the tour. WTF was his problem? - the incident had nothing to do with you and everyone was ok and details had been exchanged. So did he give any inclination as to how far he was intending to pursue things (if at all)?
X & Scott,
From your enthusiasm Friday and yesterday, it looks like my next tyre purchase will be P-zeros. I thought Subaru fitted them as standard to new Scoobs... and with good reason. As much as my biggest concern prior to yesterday's tour was about the tyres I am currently running, I still managed a good pace where permissible, but I think the Pirellis will endow me with that bit more confidence in adverse weather conditions.
Mostly a great day for all,
Kev

mickjg,
i was at the clinic last night - i think it must have been ur car that arrived there just before 6pm. shame about the accident, but its a perfect opportunity to have some extra mods
