could sum1 please PM me where the cov meets usually take place and how often? im new to the scooby kingdom but would really like to see what can be done out there and trade notes/experiences of mods gone wrong/good...

Nowhere specific it's rare if we go to the same pub twice....
Usually the first or last Sunday of the month as a rule, although of late it's mainly been shows etc & the usual organiser is working weekends at the minute so a bit of a change to the routine
there's a few of us going to santa pod this sunday to see what sum of the usual Cov types can do with their toys

Trade wise depends what your talking but most the non warrenty worrying types use Roger Clarks just west of Leicester for the mods & servicing where applicable But ask away if u need anything more specific on the info front?

PPS usual (when the normal pub meets get going again) north south east or west of Cov in no specific order just wherever the fancy take us really. Are u actually a Cov type?

yeah mine has gone 2 weeks today It was/is a green 4 door on 18"s 5 spoke alloys & big blitz zaust Loadsa smiley stickers & a few toys...... Now has mid level spoiler although i only ever had low level un

& £120 for 500 miles if that's just petrol we're talking then that dont sound too healthy even if yer shelling out on optimax?
circa 20mpg is norm but that sounds far less than that?

yeah thats my fuel bill so far (optimax).... two and half tanks in first week!!!
i dont think i can afford to a trek to the pod just yet.... just had to pay out for the car, the insurance, and a birthday party **** up this week..... officially skintos!
paid a trip to Thor today mind, their Supra looks pretty cool. £60 for a dyno... will see what im pushing after a few cheapish mods...
The Scoob im on about i usually see around north of cov... M6 J3 ways...

Hi jag I is the local type 2 as Si said though the meets usually one a month but the summer show season takes over a bit ,I work all over cov I,ll keep me mince pies out 4 u I,m usually in me white Trannie (van that is ,just before Si jumps on that )its got J home enhancemants on it give us a toot if u see it!.

Si, i saw a green monster today outside PC World on london rd... it may have been your old un... 17 gold Speedlines, Graham Goode zorst... looked decent... tried hangin round to see who it was, but when i got back out of the shop it had gone...
