I know August is a busy month for most, but anyone fancy a Thursday night meet soon?
In line with my normal organisational skills, I propose:-
Date: TBA (around two weeks time?)
Venue: TBA

Oakerthorpe is a bit busy thursdays but it could be interesting if we could get enough sensible drivers to convoy into the place just once[most scoobs counted there was 5]. There is a guy trying to organise a regular monthly meet near mansfield ,check out thread LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE TO GO , it would be nice to get a regular midlands monthly venue . My mate is in the sporting escort club they've had 2 meets since I bought the car and i've still had none ,i turned up there with the car but they all called it a foreigner . Jealous , maybe?

called in at the anchor at oakerthorpe last night was really good night loads a bikes an scoobys soo room for more plus loads of other cars
i'll leave the rest up to you lot if ya intrested looks a good meetin place

The anchor was busy at Oakerthorpe last night because they shut the other pub due to people doing burnouts in the carpark on previous weeks and complaints from locals about bad driving/parking ,the police are watching closely so it's probably not the best place for a bunch of performance cars to turn up at ,even if everyone is sensible it still seems like a lot of hassle.

I was talking to a fellow Scoob owner who was there last Thursday. Said it was a tad busy !
It would be good to drive a bit nearer to Capser as he always has to drive miles to visit us lot in Derby/Notts

Has anyone been to Denby lodge recently , it used to be a regular monday night gathering place but I don't think it is anymore so maybe we could go there . I am up for any of the following towns/cities Derby,Nottingham,Mansfield,Chesterfield,Ripley or anywhere inbetween all it needs is a large car park and some friendly people, any suggestions?

seeing as it's Tuesday now, then how about hold the meet next Thursday 21st August at the **** Inn??
It's about 5-10 mins blat from the West side of Derby, so not far.
Does that keep eveyone happy?
