there is a fortnightly meet up of cars in leicester. People started turning up about 3 years ago and its just grown threw word of mouth and the web. Bit of a social really, just chatting and check out a few of the novas etc... lol!!!

Nearly forgott if you buy MAX POWER this month (yes i know max power n*b heads and all that!!) Gadget Daz told me about it, you will see A, darrens engine bay in the back pages at the leicester cruise and B, my R-send, and thats all i will say right now!!!!!buy it to find out more.........pmsol..

It would be a week today at Pizza hut at Fosse Park. But they have now put up some gates so I guess there will be a new location. I think there will be flyers handed out on the night to redirect people but not sure where it will be. There is a lad that works for us that is really into it so I will find out off him and get back to you all.
On another note, if the weather is any good I am off to Donnington this Sunday to watch the track day. Anyone else going?

Its going to still be at the same area, there is a sainsburys next door, which they are planning to go into, initially at least. There should be flyers if they are going to move. If you need any information on how to get there si mail me on andrew@masonking.co.uk

Sort of like a cruise, originally started for people to meet up who were interested in doing up there cars, to look at one anothers etc. That was about 3 or so years ago, like everything you get bad apples and you get the lot that think they are part time stunt drivers trying to impress all of the 16 old girls. I like the social side meeting people each fortnight and having a laugh, but all of this has caused the owners to put up some gates, I must admit that the dinners at pizza hut must be pretty shocked by all of the nutters going past. They are looking for some where else to go at the moment, hopefully be an industrial estate so its far away from the public

LOL!!!! I left pretty ealry to be honset. I saw rob but not gaz. I was a bit wary of the number of police there. There was a riot van, and at least 5 cop cars all with at least 2 men in, decided it was a good time to leave then as I thought they may be looking to impose the new anti social behaviour act on us, I like my car, lol!!
Turns out they had try to arrest some lad for something, but having put him in the back of their car they were surrounded by a lot of the crowd, mainly his mates, and they managed to open the car doors and did a runner. They didn’t like that and appeared in force.
Thought I would just go and test my new brakes and suspension, my girlfriend loves is (Not)!! Lol

Rob, that’s why I kept driving about, not right having it in a supermarket when its still open. But I am off to see the Police on Friday about trying to set-up a legal meet with their co-operation, not quite sure how I managed to get promoted to being the speaker but 2pm this Friday off to Braunstone police station. They seem pretty interested to set up something so I am pretty hopeful. They are requesting a form of marshalling, which is fair enough, just depends on the other demands.

Hope all goes well mate...don't know how we can realy do anythig with out a bit of backing from the boys in blue!!!
at least if they are there it should put off the stunt drivers with no insurance etc...
