i stick to speed limit,(of course)Find most people overtaking me?There doing 35-50 MPH! surley if they are working(The Cameras) then 100's of fines R being issued everyday? Same applies to Western Boulevard etc (i Know thats 40 limit)But its Just The same Story.

I was driving on the ring road near the Audi garage as you come from Arnold where there are over head camaras and there was a speed camara van parked at the side of the road ?
If they are on then why was a camara van there ? of course i was only doing 40 in a 40 but the old dear whoo went flying past me will get a shock, then again he was probably looking at me in the Scooby and not some Vectra flying past

there's sumin like this on the M69 as i recall & did *** up a while back. Not sure if it's just incident cameras or sumin but i fink the speed camera variety has to have yellow (or was it yellow & black or possibly orange) background behind the camera so if black shud b OK. Sumin like that i reckon from my fantastic memory [irony mode on so may wana double check] of sum proggy a while back on this subject

I have it from a source .... but wouldn't risk it myself ... that they are set to 40 in the 30 sections and 50 in the 40 sections due to the amount they would have to process. Dare not risk it myself as they could change the cut off at a seconds notice. Most of the taxi drivers seem to know this !
But Mr Hill you don't speed anyway !!!!

I'm from Leicester, just reading through your board - someone said about the M69 overheads:-
THEY ARE CONFIRMED AS TAX DISC CHECKERS
If your other one is 2 or 3(1 per lane) cctv like cameras fixed on a bridge, no markings or colours it's probably the same. They don't need multiple speed cameras for multiple lanes.
Watch out, cameras do not have to be covered in flouro it's just a new move from the governemnt to highlight accident areas.
Also note a lot of cameras that used to do red light now check speed also !

Couple of these type of cameras on the M54 near J3. Have been told by someone who was nicked down there that they can be linked directly into a waiting police car who then joins the motorway at the next bridge and nicks you!! I have seen a lot of cars pulled by the police down there, so could be something in it.
