Watch that sunburn
Now first off the type I have isn't a killer......so I'll be here to bother you all for the foreseeable future!
But had a 'spot' on my chest that didn't seem to go...been to see a consultant yesterday and the upshot is that next week it, and another tiny one nearby, will be removed.
(Basal Cell Carcinomas)
So if you fall into any of these categories......
1. Fair skinned / burn easily
2. Freckled
3. Blue or green eyed
4. Ginger
5. Spend, or have spent a lot of time in the sun (sunburnt)
(FML 5 out of 5)
......and you have any lumps / spots that have lasted for more than a month, or have changed size, shape or colour ( and that isn't just brown, they can be red, pearly, pink, and all shades in between) them pop to your GP and have them looked at.
The consultant was concerned that I would worry about having two small scars .....I laughed and said "it's ok my supermodel days are behind me anyway" - made her smile!
Stay safe and get it checked out - you would if was a spot on the car!
