Default JDM GC8 STi V3

Hello all,

My name is Kane and within the past year gone from my previous USDM Civic EM2 to a V3 JDM GC8 STi and i love it!!

Here is my pride and joy, been the owner since March last year and have cherished every moment up and down i have had with her.

I purchased the car, fairly stock with 125000kms on the clock and with limited service history, but up until just recently i set about getting her into a good running condition with a few optional extras .

Below is when i first obtained my first GC8, She had a toyosports manifold and up pipe, k&n filter, red HT leads, CDB + V3 heads + ACL race bearing set, Blitz divorced decat downpipe and 2.5" straight through exhaust with a vortex can, afterburner rear lights, A pillar gauge mount with Tim boost & Vacuum gauges, lamco single din mount and a apexi timer, Fake HKS dump valve and some ssw wheels.

Then i decided id like it without the rear wing and wrapped the top face and bonnet.

I then sat here down on some eibach spring and changed the profile of the rubber, Changed the air filter, fitted some green vac hose as the colour scheme is what i wanted. Swapped the crap afterburners for some OE wrx tails, until i can get a set of STi tails (still require these).

All was going smoothly until early December when the fuel pump burnt out, so i replaced the whole assembly and fitted a walbro 255lph. Then 2 days after having her back on the road some T**t went into the rear of me. All being well only little damage was done and a nice payout from the insureance company and cheap repair cost left me spare cash burning a hole in my pocket. So i thought id start a small build. So here is the spec to date (some parts i am still waiting for and to install)

EJ20 CDB + V3 heads + ACL race bearings
Japspeed 3" downpipe back exhaust system
Jperformance FMIC kit
Mini Mud Flaps
Apex'i power air filter
Green Samco Hose kit
Jperformance Catch Can
pivot Voltage Stabilizer + Grounding kit
Cusco 15 row oil cooler and oil filter relocation kit
Mocal 10JIC remove oil thermostat
New exhaust gaskets
OE thermostat
D1 Spec fuel pressure reg 20-100psi
20m ceramic heat wrap
amber sides
single din gauge pod
boost, oil temp, oil pressure, EGT gauges
Swoosh STVR turbo timer
Few decals + sun strip
Green silicon hose Cooler piping couplers
Blitz oil cap
Ported JMG TD05-20g turbo
550cc injectors with lateral performace phase 1.5 adaptors
SWRD Braided Oil feed
SWRD braided clutch feed
3 port boost solenoid
OEM boot lid decal
OEM boot lid and mid level spoiler
NGK 7B plugs
Castrol Edge 10w-60 5l
RCM GT Spec Headers and up pipe
RCM intake spacers
Thermal heat spacers for header tank

In progress of installing everything, hoping by mid march she will be set and off to Simon Roe for ESL Motorsport mapping. My aim is 370-400bhp.

Will keep updated with pictures and as it progresses.

Future plans...

Forged internals, CC stage 4, 6 puk clutch, ABW wide arches, Rear diffuser, tial 44mm external wastegate, STi Tails, Crystal headlights, new front bumper, new rear bumper.... the list is endless haha...

Look forward to meeting you all in the near future.

Cheers

Doesn't look too bad, but the two-tone thing is not for me
