STI Type-R
Hi all, thought I'd reintroduce myself, seeing as I've just bought/ in the process of buying another Scoob.
Bought a blob eye WRX about a 14 months ago, which I thought was a bit poo...so swapped it for an alleged 440bhp Audi TT...which turned out to be even poo-er, and quite possibly the biggest mistake I've ever made.
Anyways, nearly a year of continual running problems and headaches later, I decided enough was enough and, following several favorable recommendations of the dealer from here and other forums, put a deposit on this;
...apologize about the filter, overwrote the original when messing about! But anyways, its currently in the process of being registered in the UK. Can't wait to get my hands on it now, as being stuck with a car I couldn't give away is doing my head in
Still around two weeks away from picking it up, but I'll post more pics, and update with progress as it goes along - plenty of ideas for this one!

You won't regret a Type-R cracking car, loads of fun. I will ignore the fact mine didn't start this morning! (my 6 speed starter motor is not the best!)
Enjoy

Cheers guys, appreciate it! I'm not particularly well versed in Impreza's, but the dealer lived up to his rep and was pointing out things I missed. Does need a tidy around the edges, but nothing major, nor nothing I'm not aware of! Just itching to get stuck in to it now...shopping list is growing by the day as I find more bits for it!
Oh don't say that! I'll be honest, I do have high expectations for it…but only because I’ve heard so many people rave over them. Test drive sold it to me alone, I’ve missed that noise!

Cheers guys! Getting old at 27, but I'm done with modified cars now. The few bits that are on this are likely to come off, and I'm wanting to return it to as near to standard as possible....I say this, but every time I look for original bits, I end up being distracted by the aftermarket shiny stuff
I feel your pain, it's by far and away the worst car I've ever owned. Someone could nick it tomorrow, and I doubt I'd flinch!
Thanks mate - I had thought about taking them off, until I found out how much replacements were! They'll definitely be staying put!
