Default Few pics today - V1 WRX

As soon I had finished it bloody rained,said on the net office it would be sunny all day !! lieing *******s !, didnt spend to long on her, engine bay clean and a bit of snow foam

In summer ill get the DA on her.

The engine bay was filthy as well

Whilst im her one quick question

On the bottom of the boost solinoid does the bottom vacumm pipe go to atmosphere ??

Thats the old mans. Rebuilt from shell. Not my cup of tea tbh.

But he loves it.

Its has been his project for about 10 years i recon.

Ive only had this scooby comin up to 2 months and for my first impreza i am imprest.

I have been thinking about selling her as the missus is preggers so need a "sensible" car

been looking at bmw 330d e46. Seem a good alrounder.

Anyone got one ?

Ok ill have to have a look at that. Must of fell of when i took the filter off. Seems to run ok without it acttached ??

If I recall correctly, one of the pipes from the solenoid goes onto the bottom of the air box.

Yes mate that will be it. When i took the filter off i wondered why it had that random wierd hole on the back of it.

Makes sense now. Lol

Sorry if you have an air box then yeah it goes into that but if you have a cone filter or similar then yes needs to go anywhere around the base so air is put back through system. I'm far from an expert but it shouldn't affect the running at all if left off

bottom hose can be left open to atmos if you dont have the original airbox

mine is on esl and my bottom solenoid pipe just sits there and vents
