Cheers mate, well at the moment it's completely standard and has a few issues to sort before I start modifying it, but eventually its going to have bigger turbo, injectors, remap and be running about 300bhp, don't really want much more power as my last car was my Audi s4 that was running 300+ and ended up written of and scrapped so 300 is probably about enough

Looks nice and clean, quite similar to mine, just had new turbo injectors etc fitted, really pleased with the result, running around 310 bhp. Enjoy spending your hard earned cash on her, worth it though.

Nice bug but as JonMc says the Blob STi scoop just looks wrong.........a nice Bug STi scoop would look far nicer

I've fitted a vf34 quite hard to get hold of but a cracking little turbo. Vf35's are more common and a bit cheaper, they come off the Sti model. I loved my little td04 but just runs out of puff top end and the vf34 make a good noise!

Cheers finger scooby, yeah I was looking at the vf34 turbo but then I've seen a td05h turbo for £75 so thinking I might just buy that then start saving for a vf35, the scoop is massive sometimes gets in the way

I ran my Bug WRX at a nice 325 BHP on a TD05 16G, tough critter, no slouch on spooling but not as good as a roller bearing VF34. Mind you it was a lot cheaper

Sounds good to me midlife cheers mate, I'll probably just get the td05 for the min then, that's all I really want is around 300bhp anyways, what other mods did you have?

Ive got a vf35 on my bug, highly underrated turbo IMO. Little bit laggy compared to TD04 but great pull once spooled and cheaper than a vf34
Mine made 340+bhp running @ 1.35bar after mapping with supporting mods.
