Cool My new wheels

Not to everyone's taste without a doubt (the haters will hate) but I like them and I like to be different

Wants dropping a bit, but otherwise I quite like it, different to the usual wheels you see.

Thank you - Yes she's riding a bit high but as the photos were taken not long after fitting and the car had been on axle stands for a week it's possible that the suspension has not settled yet - will go for a drive soon and see if it settles down a bit.

I'm reluctant to change the suspension as I need fairly decent clearance to do my job which often involves 4 adults in the car as well - not too mention paying good money for a new suspension to replace one that currently works fine.

Thank you and no - I live in France near Le Mans and get away with things like that - I'm also quite well known by my local Gendarmes and don't abuse the system (I don't speed through the radar cameras, etc.) and even helped get a drunk driver off the road the other week, awesome stuff to have a 3 motorcycle police riders escorting me in my Scooby at speed on our way to stop the drunken fool

They look quite good - personally I'd have dropped it a little and possibly gone for a higher profile tyre too to fill the arches but this isn't my car

I've been trying to compare the height in my photos to those of a standard WRX and those of when I bought mine - don't think there's too much difference so I guess I'll have to keep the "Monster Truck" look as it probably won't settle too much more - doesn't bother me to be honest.

For anyone interested here's some before and after photos. All cosmetic (spoiler, splitter, rear lights, wheels, mud flaps, plates and a decent clean....roof spoiler to come), happy with the engine as it is. I'm not trying to pretend it's a STi - if I wanted an STi I would've bought one, I just wanted to improve the look of my WRX - in my humble opinion of course.

It's not the catching that worries me it's the ground clearance - I'm an estate agent in France and quite often I have to go down dirt tracks to access water mills and farms etc. and with the passage of other cars the centre section is often very raised. If I lower it then I'm running the risk of it grounding (already have this problem with another car that's lowered).

Also to be honest I don't really want to pay to replace the suspension when the original one works fine - the wheel gap really doesn't bother me.

The Impreza is supposed to be a rally car, at least I thought it was

As long as you are happy with them, that's the main thing.

Thank Christ for that - I was really worried that you were going to say you like them .... Given your taste on anything that isn't standard or your car I can't say I'm not surprised - yet another TT comment on SNet slagging off someone else's point of view

Is it a generic disorder you have or did you have to take lessons to be this obnoxious? Second thoughts given the lack of spelling and grammar I guess it's a generic disorder and I apologise for criticizing your handicap.

I personally think it looks good mate. Different from the norm, which isn't always a good thing, but in this case I think it is.
