Default My UK Turbo 2000

Picked up this beauty for a bargain price a few weeks back...

It had some 18's on it which were looking a bit tired so I replaced them with some 16" Terzo rims I got off here for muchos cheapness...

They were silver so a quick blow over with gold paint

Then fitted

The clutch was slipping really bad so got that changed with a new unit off AS Performance on here, Moneys worth had been had from the old unit

Was suffering from a pretty bad misfire so a set of NGK Iridium X's later and she's running sweet again

After a few weeks I've decided the wheels look too small so I've got some ST2's on the way which I've got booked in to be professionally sprayed next week in gold so I will keep this thread updated.

Lovely car. Just my opinion, but have a rethink on he ST2s going gold..... I think gunmetal looks great with silver, but gold looks a bit ....

St2
Great wheels
Maybe not in gold for that colour of car though
Great example of a classic
Not many of us left with them
How are the arches ?

Looking good, but I agree with the gold wheels comments. I had some ST2s on my old WRX, and think it looked pretty decent in regulation silver wheel colour:

Arches are very good, I just think silver wheels on a silver car don't do them any justice and I don't like dark coloured wheels either so that's why I think gold is a good choice and I like it

Should look something like this when done...

Great wheels

Had mine for 12 years now
Was lucky picked up two brand new ones still in boxs from eBay for £120 cash

Cheaper then refurbishing them

205/45 is the std size but as said above, 215/40 is the cheaper alternative!

Yeah the first guy who viewed it bought it. well technically it's still mine because he's only paid a deposit... To be honest I put it up for sale because I seen a blobeye come up for sale that I wanted but the guy sold the blobeye before I could get to him so I need to find a blob now quick! lol

I will miss it when it goes, Never gave me any problems but onwards and upwards I suppose.

yes can understand newer may seem upwards, but the classic are by far the best looking and after all what started everything off in the first place.

good luck with your search
