Early Xmas pressie....Hawkeye WRX
Many thanks to Tim Farmer for confirming that the car I was travelling from France to the UK to pick up was not a dog
2005 (September) Hawkeye WRX with a nice and low 41k miles on the clock and other than the after market centre and rear box was totally unmodified - just what I was after.
Had her back at home a few days and have already added a Chargespeed splitter, mudflaps, Bugeye rear lights and given her a serious clean. The STi rear spoiler is currently being sprayed and hope to have it back after Xmas to pop on the boot. Not planning on any engine mods but if I decide to keep her will probably add some 18" wheels for the summer.
Prices over here (France) are nutty for good condition WRX/STi and even RHD examples are worth a lot more than the UK prices. This is the second Scooby I've owned and am just as impressed with this one as I was with my first. Living in rural France I need the ground clearance, being an estate agent I need 4 doors and being just 20 mins from Le Mans it would be rude not to have something with a bit of poke.
Anyway here's some piccies taken in the rain today of how she currently looks:
She's had 4 owners prior to me so it's possible that someone on here knows the car, I'd be interested in hearing from you if you do
and here's my last (and 1st) one (which I sold a couple of years back for a stupid profit):

Thanks guys
Yes the roads are sublime over here. I'll try and get up to Indianapolis for a photoshoot come the new year - just waiting for the STi spoiler and the sun.
Anyone know what my exhaust is? I've not been under that end yet to see if there's a name on it but the sound is fantastic.

Thanks - I'm thinking more 18" 5 spoke Ultralights in Silver - going for a black and silver theme (as with my other 3 cars, lol)
No, standard ride height - the car was pretty much original (except the exhaust) when I got her and where I live having the "normal height" is fine.
Certainly is .... but you need to live in France as I do - Front one is on order 12"x3" silver on black

Thx.
The wheels I've found have a thin blue pinstripe around the inner rim and around the central badge - maybe a Spec-C style grill with a blue pinstripe to link to the wheels may work as well as being a bit different - for the cost of some coloured tape it may be worth a try

Spent some more money today and have ordered these ... 18" Ultralites
Mags will sort me out some Falken 453s once I've restocked the piggy bank and the snow has gone.

Cheers....It's getting there - certainly looks better IMHO than when I picked her up a month ago. The wheels and new plate (silver on black 2/3 size) should finish it off I think.
So pleased with the way she drives - just a little "flat spot" that needs remapping/ironing out and jobs a good'un
