No it's not a respray or a wrap, it's one of the very last hawkeyes registered in the UK .... It started life in the fire service or as a copper , I picked her up in 2010 she had been rattled to an inch of her life as you can see but the service history was second to none and have done a few things to her

Ahh ok. Technically not a Spec D then? Unless the forces sprayed it?
*Puts his Spec-D nerd specs on.
Not that it really matters cause its a looker for sure and i'd while I am of course a fan of Spec-D silver (well ok 'Grey') I do like a black scoob.
What is the overall plan then?

Yep low level WRX one. I think maybe a few non UK Spec D's may have had this micro spoiler though... noticed it on a couple of 'quoted' spec ds from Scandinavia but they could just be mods with the OE holes filled. Seems a lot of work for that though imo. I do quite like that style spoiler though i must say.

Don't think it is a spec d (but could be wrong) as if you do a check on the registration number it just comes up as a Wrx Sti type uk and spec d's normally come up as Wrx Sti spec d.

All Spec-D or not Spec-D aside I have to praise you greatly on these vids. They are a fascinating watch (especially after my h.g failure and subsequent piston replacement).
Good work for getting them online. Look forward to seeing it all coming together.

this one isn't very PC, don't watch it if your easily offended, plus i get pulled by the cops.
and the debate continues , she is an oddity, black leather interior, black brembo calipers, sat tracking and half a mile of cv cabling that i don't need or want.
Anyhow, thanks for the props gents i hope you enjoyed watching the vids as much as i enjoyed rebuilding my engine.
sorry to hear about your piston replacement dude, as most of my vids show engine rebuilds can be abit of a ball ache.

Very similar to a Spec D....but even more "D"! HA HA!
Standard STi running gear, all the differences are cosmetic:-
Little (boot lip) spoiler
Silver Enkei wheels
Black Brembos
Front Fogs
Leather interior
Black carpets
Different colour centre console
Only came in black, silver and urban grey I believe
Only 25 exist, sold through 4 dealers
No heated seats - unfortunately

The prize?
Exclusivity of course!
Personally I really like the extra D-ness....and it certainly gets less (unwanted) attention!
Mine is even more "stealthy" now, as I had the wheels powder coated in dark anthracite!
