Default Finally got her back on the road, but not as happy.....

As i should be !

Some may remember i had my bonnet scoop stolen which damaged the bonnet, then i came across a carbon fibre wrapped one,so i got that.

when i mock fitted it i had black wheels, temp ones, while i was getting my current ones powdercoated white, the bonnet looked good.

Now,i have fitted the white wheels i think it looks ****e !

i`m not going to repaint the wheels black and not getting another bonnet anytime soon,so, what can i do to blend it in a bit better ?

i thought maybe black mudflaps and black centre caps in the wheels ?

thoughts ? (apart from it looks ****e,the hassle ive had lately its a miracle its back up and on the road !)

umm, sure mate, lose the white flaps. to much white on white. black or red flaps.. swap the scoop completely unless its needed. white might be the colour for it just my opinion but think the black carbon bonnet ruins the good looks...

Black flaps, then possibly even going with carbon wrapped mirrors and roof? Might look quite good I think?

Maybe then if you really feeling that, go with a carbon spoiler too! Feel free to shoot down, just a idea!

cheers guys, totally agree, i could remove the wrap, but i think the bonnet paint isnt the best so dont want to end up with a re-spray jobby etc.

i`ll start with the black mudflaps/black centre caps then like said above maybe a spoiler in carbon

but for now, sod it, i`m driving it LOL

cheers

Have to agree, maybe some facelift vents, standard scoop and a plainer grill would make it look better. Then some red flaps, wrapped mirrors and roof

Yea looks like poop to be honest. White wheels on a white car is never going to work. You were right the 1st time they should be black, dark anthracite or even gold works well with white. Although been done a thousand times before.

Its not the wheels i dont like, i lurv white on white, its just when i mocked the bonnet up i had the black ones on,which made the bonnet blend better

i`ll try the spoiler top in carbon wrap and black mudflaps etc as suggested and see how it looks

cheers

If it don't work it's £260 though personally I'd go for white painted bonnet with standard vents

Not a fan of the fake carbon wrap look. Cheapens the car IMO

I'd personally go back to a white bonnet/scoop.

Honestly, I'd get a standard facelift white bonnet and headlights.

Well,as i cant get a new white bonnet etc or afford to respray this one just yet, this one will have to do so here are some adjustments i have made to help it blend in

The grill and side repeaters

I dont think i`ll change anything else really, only maybe add some carbon wrap to the spoiler blade but thats it,so here she is for now

Cheers
