Not as bad as I had imagined.....bad enough though. Is it in the bodyshop now?
Soon have it back
Is the corsa for you and the mountain bike for him

Thanks Yoza, would have posted them sooner - but havn't got a digital, so had to use the rest of the film up...
To be honest, they don't look as bad as I remembered (luckly!) Still makes me feel a bit sick though And yep, he's in the bodyshop...we got the quote through - two A4 pages! Labours gonna cost £1800 so luckly it's an insurance job Managed to completely destroy the water pump and the rear anti-roll bar pulling him out the ditch Never mind eh? Should be back in 3/4 weeks
...Chris on the mountain bike...good idea! He'd probably ride it into a ditch though

Will feel like an eternity,3-4 weeks......never mind.
Do you drive it,if so can you imagine how you would have felt going back to Chris, and explaining that you had trashed his pride and joy
Glad no one was hurt, and thats what insurance is for
My other half drove me home from the city center today, never again....went back later to pick up my diff and gearbox
Hope she dont read this.

jen,
not as bad as i thought too but a bit mucky from the ditch i suppose. the bonnet still fixable is suppose, but with cars like that it's better to go back to the subaru dealer sometimes. Well you are well and suppose it's a matter of getting you back on the road really! See ya soon Jen...in the corsa! i'll wave

Thanks for the advice/sympathy guys!
Would have upgraded the front end if we were doing it ourselves, but it's definatly an isurance job...they're doing alot of respraying/refiting and re-jigging with new rear suspension parts and taking off all the wheels and checkin' them over, re-doing all the geometry (which is an a*se as we had the prodrive settings before... ) - so we can't really afford all that!! Already cancelled the honeymoon plans to pay the excess Oh well!
Yoza - was Chris that was driving, and it wasn't his fault, everyone seems to think I would have shouted at him, but I'm not really the type Was more concerned that he was ok..hopefully he'll do the same when I drive Scoob into a ditch
....still gonna do the sparkly badge though Just means I have a few more weeks to find the glitter...hehehee!

And...

The work took 8 weeks and costed my insurance company about £6700.
Hope you get it sorted.
