Default Another busy weekend

Fitted grease nipples to my STI rear struts and a new rear box. No more noise from the suspension and lovely noise from the exhaust, happy days

It's a HKS copy off of Ebay Although I've got to say after a lot of searching not seen another one likeit. I'm impressed with the quality, sound (not too loud) and fit I didn't want an angled entry (not my taste) and this one fitted the bill and it was only £130.

Can give you the link if you would like it.

With the grease nipples did you just drill and fit them and grease up the shock?

I totally stripped the strut, cleaned all the old grease out (it was solid) then regreased everything. Whilst it was all apart drilled a 5mm hole, tapped a 6mm thread and fitted a 6mm tappered grease nipple. Put it back together then filled the strut with grease using a grease gun.

Not too difficult but not for a non-mechanical person

@Smithy07 this thread is 8 years old and the OP hasn't posted since 2013 so you probably won't get a reply to this. Nice looking pipe that though!

I meant to post this at the end of Nov. There are some cracking upgrades on this tread.
I had the following done to my forged Hawk Wagon:
bigger injectors
STI TMIC
VF48 hybrid ball bearing turbo
3 port boost solenoid
induction kit
performance radiator

The mapper said the MAF is now maxed out and I'd need to go MAF-less to get anymore out of it. I've kept it looking standard from the outside. It already had a 3 inch exhaust, 255 fuel pump, coilovers, stiffer antiroll bars and drop links. It's a bit of a sleeper now.
