My Baby Finally Stanced
I know it wont be to everyones taste's but i absolutely looooove it.
Gonna order a front splitter and a pair of Perrin Stiffi's next week but for now im happy with it , I was originally going to do these wheels monster green or bright orange but after seeing them on im going to wait till closer to the summer and do something wild with them....
Running 225/40/18 Uniroyal Rainsport 2's which seem good so far.
I did have it a touch lower but thought id let them settle for a week..

Don't get me wrong the handling/ride comfort is now definitely not what it was , BUT I only use it to get to work and pick the kids up from school , I don't go out cruising etc so I can put up with it.
I understand a lot of people would frown upon such acts but I've loved this look since my first finding over on our American friends Scoob site and just HAD to do it

There was you first mistake, copying NASICOCK, that lot wouldn't know stance if you beat them around the head with it.

After coming across wfc a few weeks back that site has put a whole new slant of scoob, especially my hatred for the bug eye. That site has actually made me really like after seeing what can be done. The thing is they can over there cos the roads are so much better, running that low over here for an every dayer you'd break things everytime you went out. They look so good though. Xxrs have found a new place in my heart.
Yours is looking pretty good though. It's not stanced but it's getting there good work

They're not though, it's just that we only ever see pics of the good roads.
I daily mine, often drive it long distances to shows and drove it 1000 miles to Belgium and back last year. You just get used to ignoring the sound of your chassis smashing off the floor...

I had the impression they did tbh... I just realised what car you own, have seen it dotted around. How low you rolling? It's a great sound isn't it. When I dropped my polo it was always the wishbones that liked to kiss the floor, with my mini was always the exhaust bracket and my Alfa was the exhaust mani :\ you have exhaust issues?

Yeah, they do have some nice ones, just like we do, but like I said, no one takes pictures of the crap bits.
Honestly? No idea. I just wound the coils down pretty much as far as they'd go, then hacksawed a locking collar out and went further ;]
The little kisses put a massive grin on my face, it's the ones where you sit with your heart in your mouth waiting for your oil light to come on to tell you you've smashed your sump that aren't funny.
I've flattened and then finally lost a couple of heat shields off the cats, my sub-frame takes most of the punishment now.
Wouldn't change it for the world.
You're nearly there abbott, but stance just isn't something you can half do, you either manage it or you don't. As you can probably tell from my conversation with baker_boy, it's not easy being low, it takes time and effort, and if you don't take care, stuff gets broken.

Yeah what pyrotecnic said. It's not easy just takes some doing to get right. You know what I used to love the wincing/cringing face that you pull when going over a hump/bump then an 'ooooooohhhhhh!!!' from passengers!! Ha. Good times tbh. You got many more plans for yours?
