Hi Guys,
Just a quick first post to introduce myself
My name is Dan and i am a Design Engineer based in Cumbria.
I have just joined SN after purchasing my first Subaru in early December from a specialist in the midlands called J Performance Cars (known on pistonheads as JPerformance) So far I am absolutely loving the car, which has to be one of the most capable performance cars I have owned (and have had a few)
I will just add, if anyone is considering buying a car from these guys, they come with the highest reccomendation. Both Sam and his Dad (the owners) were the friendliest and most hospitable car dealers I have ever experienced, taking the time to explain the whole cars history, info about Subarus generally and also showed me round their garage of Lambos and Astons etc. A real breath of fresh air buying from dealers who are genuine enthusiasts themselves and who take pride in the condition of the cars they are selling.
Anyway, the car is a silver 2006 Hawkeye 2.5 STI, absolutely mint on 26k miles with the following spec (combo of bits already fitted & bits ive fitted myself);
-PPP spec (Walbro Fuel Pump etc) With additional custom Andrew Carr Remap (~360/390)
-Full Turbo Back TSL Pulse Extraction Exhaust with Racing Cat (fully heat wrapped downpipe)
-Pipercross Viper CArbon Airbox with CAF to front fog light
-Uprated silicone boost hoses
-Turbosmart Vee Port Dump Valve
-Exedy Organic 'pink box' Clutch
-Blitz Rad Cap
-Eibach Pro-Line Springs
-Wheels Fully Powder Coated in Anthracite
-Full new set of REO70s
-DS2500 Pads
-Prodrive Splitter
-Prodrive Mudflaps
-Black ZUNSPORT Grille
-Pink front badge/gloss black rear badge surround
-3/4 plate on front
-8000K HIDs & LED Sidelights
-Subtle Prodrive and Solberg pig decals
-Autogauge Boost Gauge
-HKS Type Zero Turbo Timer
-Spec C Black Dashboard
-Spec C gear ****
-Alpine Stereo with I-pod
-Window Tints all round
Im sure Ive forgotten some bits!
Afew pics anyway, not the best as weathers been pretty poor, but gives an idea:
