Default Type R with Newage STI Wheel

Finally, I managed to get my new steering wheel fitted. I've had it sat in the garage for about two years. My hand was finally forced when the garage working on my car damaged the clock spring when changing the steering rack (spun it a few too many times), anyway they managed to replace the clockspring and fit the newage sti wheel as below.

The reason for the steering rack change was to fit the quick rack bought 18 months ago - we don't do things fast down here lol. The net result is more direct feel and turn in is improved, probably as the car is now running Prodrive settings

Cheers mate, I much prefer the three spoke one to the original four spoke.

I went the same route on my R, and was surprised by the amount of difference in feel it gave while driving

Good dice
