Default Winter Wheels, Yet again in Green lol

Well winter us upon us at an alarming rate, So its time to Clean the Prodrive GC's off and put them away while the salt is about, as they are far to expensive to knock around.

So I set about a little task.

I acquired a set of 330's Rims, Some in a poor condition and curbed badly, so after a little tlc they were fit to Clean up ready for paint.

98 minutes at 50deg c with the aid of a Finish Quantum Powerball Tablet

Inside and outside Primed up with White Etch Primer.

Leave to harden off for 15 hrs.

I then returned to the garage this afternoon and gave them a coating of my colour of choice, VERT TELECOME HOLLANDE GREEN
White primer comes in handy as it appears to give the paint a slightly lighter colour.

Just gotta Let that harden before rotating the wheel and Painting the faces. Then the Job of rubbing back again to then apply the clearcoat.

Not everyone's Taste but then I'm not normal

Wheel faces now painted, well 3 of them as the under side of one isnt hard enough to flip yet.

3 out of 4 wheels have now been coated with my colour of choice the final wheel will be painted tomorrow as I had ran out of paint again.

Inside of the Rim Clearcoated this eveing and rim spun round and sti emblem applied prior to clear coat going over them

Nearly at the final chapter, The clearcoat has been added to the front face of the wheels tonight, so basically thats more of less it, Center caps to locate & tyres to fit then bolt them on once they are fully hardened.

Not the best picture really

Tyres fitted and the GC-010E's put away for winter. Hello Greenies

Center Caps yet to turn up to fit into the wheels

I think they look superb. Great work.

Did you need to rub them down before the white etch primer?
