New Fella Saying "Hi"
Hi all,
New to this forum, but not to car forum's in general.
I currently have a Peugeot 306 Rallye in black which is up for sale.
I have had the car some time and loved it, but i am looking for something diferent now.
I have always wanted an Impreza, but never been able to afford the insurance (being 22) and running costs etc.
I have recently started up my own company and its going really well so i thought i would get the thing i have wanted for a long time!
I only do 50-80 miles a WEEK as i travel to work on the train so car's are just weekend toys to me.
Anyway, once again Hi and i look forward to meeting and becomin g a part of the forum.
Thanks,
James
P.S any advice on what to look out for when buying an Impreza (wanting a UK Turbo 2000 for insurance reasons)

Hey James first and foremost welcome.
I like what you've done to your 306 and I look forward to what you will do to the Impreza!.
My advice would be to check a few things when you go over it;
Check that all the seals are intact and free from rust (not to much of a big deal)
Check that muppets aint crushed the underside of the car by jacking it at the wrong point, this normally leads to rust...
Make sure there is no knocks off boost or on boost..
See if it smokes or not
Main thing is the engine IMO, my friend has 3 subarus, 2 blew without warning due to oil pump failures etc..
Just the norm tbh!
Oh yeah check the history depending on mileage for rebuilds, services and all that crap lol

Should be off to view/ Buy a Turbo 2000 PPP on sat of this week.
Will post up pictures as soon as i have/ or not purchased it.

I just want something a little more tune-able if you get me.
I have a guy interested in the 306 for sat morning, it is currently up for sale for £2550 mainly due to the list of parts and how rare the car is.
As i put before only 47 left in the word.
cheers for all the nice comments tho.
James
