I have had to take the splitter off as I hit a rabbit (I live in a rural area) and it cracked it all the way through. It didn't do the rabbit much good either.
Hopefully I will be able to repair it and get it resprayed, although I am wondering whether to or not as it will probably happen again, I quite like it without.

Looks really clean mate Id stay with the original front bumper as most early classic owners (including myself) have gone facelift. Makes a pre facelift bumper quite rare now

I was looking for a picture of a facelift bumper, it could be the route to go.
Good point about keeping the original though, sometimes it's the best route. Food for thought, definitely.
