Default Pic request - gauges in your blobeye ??

Guys, looking for some pictures off side mounted / dash mounted gauges within a blobeye wrx ?? having just got some gauges earlier on today will be looking for a nice reasonably priced 3 gauge pod not decided if to go dash or side mounted yet - any advantages / disadvantages between the two ?? any ebay recommendations for a source off pod ??

thanks folks

Be careful of the ebay dash triple pods (the cheap ones), they're known not to really match the colour of your dash. You might be better spending a few extra penys and buying off someone like scoobyparts / scoobyworld.

cheers

It's a bug, but the dash is the same as early blobs...

Be careful of the cheapy ones, as already said, they dont match and most of the time dont fit properly either. I had two before finally paying the money and going for an ATI one

Had this one before it which I really liked as it blended in nicely and was alot more subtle than the ATI one, but could never get it to fit properly, and then it warped in the heat.

Yep, they are prosports, I got Boost, oil temp and oil pressure. No problems with gauges, I did have and issue with one of the sensors snapping when I fitted them, so had to pick up a new one.

I have an a-pillar single pod (boost) mounted in the very corner, prosport gauge. Very happy with it, no problems. As you mentioned I believe you would have to move the alarm sensor, but I can't see that being a massive job, just a case of moving it up and re-drilling. Mind you I'm not sure how long the cabling for it is behind?
