Default seighford track training day

apologies for the poor video, but i just thought i would share my sunday afternoons entertainment

myself and the family spent the day at a trackday with plenty of exotica to play with, drove a lambo, ferrari, evo and the old faithful blob sti

a small video below of yours truly reeling in a pair of gallardo's

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klyHqYoFZ1c

yes it was a great day thanks buddy

i must have stumbled accross the official formula 1 drivers site by accident on here

the circuit is a simple stretched oval with a chicane on either side before the turn, the track is exactly 1 mile, and i was pleased with averaging 116 mph over the 8 laps covered in the impreza against 118mph in the lambo

p.s has anyone else drove a gallardo ??? personally i thought it was a complete pig to drive

That has to be one of the most boring video's i have ever seen. It honestly looks like a sunday drive, and the woman saying he cant afford to drive fast because it cost £63 in petrol to get there, LOL what are you doing there. Crazy. IMO

firstly, the video was shot on a 12 year olds mobile as stated in the oe post, apologies for the lack of on set film crew and special effect artist

secondly,i wasnt driving my own car around the track, the cars have dual control allowing the ride along instructor to control your speeds in the corners which sucks obviously, but i dare say keeps the accident rate low with bellends turning up to abuse the cars and spoil the day for other event users!

third,it was a sunday drive.................it was on sunday

forth,i can afford the petrol.if i couldnt afford the fuel then i would have bought a £1500 classic shed and joined the mass ranks

so please advise me on what sort of speed around the track is acceptable,as i seem to remember planting the throttle everytime the track opened, lapping the 1 mile circuit in 36-38 seconds

good evening to you guys,im off to drive around the public streets at 3 times the speed limit with ma dump valve whaling whhhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooshhhhhhhhhhh!

regards marcus

I drove one around Silverstone last month and really liked it, the brake pedal was a bit strange at first but the car felt really good.

no not my impreza fella,it was one of the experience day cars, the gallardo was ubber fast but a pig to get comfatable with, the seating position was awful for anyone over around 6 foot tall with a helmet on,and the brakes were far too sensative.I did 8 laps in each car over the 3 hours at the circuit i probably spent around half of that in or around the cars on track time

i was going to buy the "in-car" footage, but it was £45 for the video file

well worth it just for the once in a lifetime moment of driving the lambo and ferrari,a lot of people were really taking there time on the laps to fully enjoy the time allocated in the exotica
