Wow! You're a lucky chap.
Very nice motors.
They are both 280bhp right? But one has a bigger engine which I presume is torquier and more flexible, but yet in a heavier shell?
Which feels the quickest and which do you prefer to drive?
Just interested to know.
cheers

Thanks for the comments guys.
Rich, you're right, they're both 280bhp(ish).
The Evo is pretty much standard, got a stainless steel ralliart exhaust (better than standard but not as good as some third party products), and a ralliart air filter along with lowered suspension.
The Galant is a bigger engine, yes. It's 2.5 litre, twin turbo. Mildly modded again with an HKS Exhaust (which is pretty loud!), HKS suspension, some 18" alloys and a full leather interior.
I prefer to drive the Evo as it's just more me. The Galant is quick, don't get me wrong and very torquey, pulls very well (not at the moment though, in for a clutch and flywheel! ) and for such a big car handles really well, although the seats don't hold you in like the Evo as they are standard saloon type seats. Gives a nice kick in the back when flooring it, but just not quite as much as the Evo.
The Galant engine sounds and feels as though it has much more untapped power although that may come from it being a V6 and not a four pot like the Evo, so I think it probably has the ability to be tuned to high heaven, I dunno, I'm no mechanic! What I do know though is that the brakes in the Galant could do with more stopping power, when driving ambitiously they're not quite up to the job
Hope this helps men, if anyone is in the West Mids, Birmingham to Dudley type area, give me a shout and I'll happily show you round the car(s).
