Excuse the picture quality I had to still capture the footage off my Mini DV. Might capture 30 secs or so of the top end of my P1 so u can download..... the suns shinning and the scenery is cool.
This was I on the way back from Monaco last summer.
Still had nearly 1000 revs left at 160MPH.
Reckon it could do 168MPH ish.
Got nicked doin 150MPH about an hour later....... gave them there 1000 Francs with a huge smile on my face
. The friendly policeman was more interested in my P1 than nickin me.

PS. FROM WHERE I WAS SITTING THE NEEDLE WAS AT THE END OF THE CLOCK STUCK ON 160..... THE REVS KEPT GOING UP BUT THE SPEEDO WOULD NOT MOVE ANYMORE.

GBP100 for a chance to do Vmax with no points or courts or anything. Heck, you can spend more in petrol just getting up to that speed!!!

If you look on the LeMans 24hr forum, youll notice hot topics being "DONT TAKE YOUR RADAR DETECTOR ABROAD" - so many people have been done for this, the Frogs are really hot on it

Certainly won't again! This was two years ago in my wife's MX5. We were parked up in a service station when the feds just pulled up alongside and nicked me
They very kindly drove me to a cash machine so I could get the £500 for them though

One of our cat group (no names) got nicked for just over 120 on the way back. Rolling road block and out of all of us they pulled him. £85 fine.
We all chipped in £10 each, so it cost him £15
Have seen his video with needle well off the clock, trying just catch us back up
