Nice car mate, looks like it's begging for a set of new age calipers but I'm sure you have your own ideas in respect of becoming poor as the car progresses lol. enjoy.........

Likin that.Massive potential if you go down that route or tidy up for very nice standard car.My favourite spoiler too

cheers tim, not to sure what plans iv got for it just yet ,i would like to put a front mount on to it , may be tidy the paint work up, just got to see how the funds are so i can spend on it

thanks mate , there a few bits on the paint that needs to be done nothing to major , want a front mount on it

Your going to need to get those rear arches sorted asap if you dont want to be replacing the rear quarters (not cheap, circa 1k from a dealer unpainted or take your chances from a scrappy), probably cost you about 4-500 quid depending on how bad the rust is (it may not look much but more than that and your going to be replacing metal ), and give the front mount a miss, the joys of the MY98 car is that you cant map the ecu so you have to replace it with an aftermarket one and have that mapped, costs a fair bit more that way

cheers tony , yeah thats what i want to get sorted is the arches need to see how bad they are 1st , im not to sure about the drivers door iv only had it 2 weeks , there is a few marks on the back drivers side door that i need to do if thats what you mean

Those rear arches look pretty bad my type r had far less bubbling and the guy needed to go to bear metal 2 inches above the arch, in the end I just had the full panel resprayed on both sides and I also had the roof and boot done at the same time, set me back 700 notes for that and I had discount

Had those wheels on my classic years ago really suited it. Gold wheels on silver classic looks good

cheers mate i no a good body shop all wise had dicount so hopefully want cost me to much , on my old car i had 2 doors sparyed, rear arches, back bumper, springs changed an mot for 400 hopefully want be to painfull on the wallet lol
