Hi All, I just bought one of these, took a couple of snaps...wondered what you thought of the quality.

It was only £40, so I wasn't expecting miracles, but I am actually very surprised!

Cool

I believe it fits on a keyring, goto www.iwantoneofthose.com and it should be advertised on the homepage.

Fosters, which links are you referring to? If it's where to buy, I bought mine from http://www.firebox.com

Scrappy, nice idea about the glider! I used to fly gliders and RC Planes a few years back, might have to dust my Futaba set off and get my Super Dalotel or my Acrowot back in the sky!!

Cool

It's got loads of uses that little camera - I fly planes/gliders and helis and its great not risking an expensive digi cam and just sending it up I love the Acrowots they always look great on the ground and in the air...

yep, the Acrowot is a super plane. I graduated to it after a time flying a Wizard (long snout intermediate trainer). I put in a tuned 45, and it goes like **** off a stick! The only problem I had was the engine tended to overheat with the cowl on, so I ended up removing the cowl and flying it like that. (Looked a bit untidy! but at least it kept on going!)

The best plane I have ever flown was a Delta Wing my Dad built, called "The Enforcer". It was a pusher prop, with a delta wing and twin tailpiece, had a 60 with a Tuned Pipe - was so stable, a beginner could fly it, and it was equally at home at slow speeds as fast - a pity Dad stuffed it at about 150mph!! Wasn't much left after that !

Anyway, great fun to be had...

Question

How did you release the shutter if the camera was strapped to the glider

mega-stream - it's a 6 channel radio - so I taped an extra servo onto the camera which operates from one of the spare switches on the transmitter - hey presto - pics taken at your command...
