Lovely mate....but...the wheels...they need to go.

They're WAY to small on the car, and the rubber being for the old (proper ) scoob doesn't help.

Other than that the new STi is growing on me...which is v v v v scary indeed.

Cheers Chaps

I had the door protector strips put on. Stickers and badges can be fitted later, but i'm debating whether to put them on.

Maybe the wheels are a little small, but IMHO they look so much better than gold ones, and i'd bought them over from the last car(along with AP 6 pots ). I may well change them if/when the time comes.

cheers chaps.

The tyres are lower profile(40) than the standard STI of 45. Trouble is, is that the tyres only have about 5000 miles on them so i'm loathe to ditch them just to make the wheels look bigger.

18's would look sweet, but i'm skint now maybe later on.

Car looks very nice!

I think from the background, that i was looking at it on Saturday?

With regards to your wheels, they are the Prodrive PD7's in 17" aren't they?

IF you do want to change them, then i would seriously consider buying them off you?

Sorry, bit cheeky i know, but if you look at my wanted thread, you'll see i'm not having much luck finding any,

Let me know either way?

Enjoy the car,

Nick.

Unhappy

Sorry m8, probably won't be for a while. If I had a spare 2K around it would go on a PPP for the STI, not 18 inch wheels.

Saying that if some 18 inchers came up cheap, I might be persuaded.

It's a bit like a house buying chain. I'm waiting for someone to flog thier wheels cheap, you're wanting to buy mine, but then you want to sell yours....

I'll let you know, but it's not likely to be for a good few months yet

Cheers Neil,

Problem is, that my standard 16" tyres are due for replacement very soon, so now would be the time for me to replace the wheels.

If no wheels come up, i'll have to stick with the 16's for a while longer

If you change you mind - you know where i am!

Nick.

P.s. was it you on Saturday?

Sorry m8.

Just got an offer of a brand new Spare, one only PD7 at 70 quid(100 quid off RRP). At that price i'd be silly not to.
