as a strange twist of irony, the greek designer responsible for those alpha's has been nabbed by subaru to facelift the brand new scoob for 2006 according to some bloke's post in the general forum.

Phil,
No its not a Scoob and if you are ever at a meet and not selling stuff I'll take you for a spin. LOL
DazV,
You are correct the chaps on the Alpha bbs are not happy about him going to Subaru.
Robertio,
The spoiler can look a bit big from some angles but looks great 90% of the time. The car looked rather plain without it. I love the Selespeed its so far been faultless, is absolutly fantastic when pushing on but takes a couple of weeks to get used to driving it smooth around town, just about sussed it now.
Picture of car B4 spoiler and with orange side repeaters.
ScoobySu,
Thanks for your mail. Someone at work wanted a dent repair guy but I've kept his number for my own use. Thanks again.
Picture of weeny non turbo 2 litre.
Although the Variable Valve Timing and Variable intake geometry do help a bit and the twin balancer shafts make it smooth. Still only 155bhp.
Cheers
Lee

Ok so I try and edit the plates out and loose the post all together
Try again then!!
Most of the Midlands crew and readers of True Grip will know I swapped the Series McRae about 10 months ago for a V6 GhiaX Mondeo.
My wife has a back problem and could no longer live with the Recaro seats and harsh ride of the McRae (Tonka is now enjoying it).
Mondeo was fine but not sporty enough for me so the search was on for a compromise. Tried MG's, Octavia RS, Scoob MY01's etc but in the end the Alfa won. The V6 was tempting but on the road performance wasn't that different below 4500rpm, the fuel economy of the V6 is aweful and it doesn't come with selespeed. The Veloce sports pack offered a good compromise between ride and handling and the rear spoiler was only £400.
So here it is an Alfa Romeo 2.0TS Selespeed Veloce in Cosmos Blue.
Feels solid, nothing has broken or fallen off and up to yet the dealers seem fine.
See it at a scooby meet near you soon
Swapped the side repeaters for some smoked units as the stuck out like a sore thumb.
Interior pics with selespeed buttons on stering wheel.
With 200 Scoobs at the big one.
Cheers
