Bonnet raisers
Got them this morning of kickboxingcrazy, i know there everyone's cup of tea, and i am sure someone will comment about air flow over the intercooler, but that is all taken into account i am having a duct made that will direct airflow over the ic at the back where there is an increased gap,
a good little kit with stainless washers and bolts, and a step by step guide with pictures

Yeah... or the guys at the car wash trying to forcefully close it, then knocking your window to tell you the bonnet is broken lol. I like it though, look good.

ok, from my point it is logical,
they aid cooling for under bonnet heat soak, while driving along air can flow from the top now as well as the underneath, also and i think a great idea for in heavy traffic somewhere for all that heat to escape from, and i like the way it looks too, i'm a chav @ heart lol

I don't think anyone's against someone modifying their own car, we just don't understand why you would like to make it look broken? Where did this originate from?

ok i got mine this morning took 5 mins to fit have a look, the bad thing about them is you can seen all my vin numbers etc on the top strut, and when i arm the alarm it pick up that the bonnet is open, this is due to the switch not being pushed down due to the 20mm raise, now i could just stick the switch down but that is defeating the object of haveing the bonet armed so i have gone back to the original setting clossed

To me it will effect the air pressure that would've previously been forced through the top mounted intercooler, thus allowing it to escape through the newly opened bonnet.
As well as looking like the cars had a bump or the drivers not closed the bonnet properly.
