Forgot to add- comments are much appreciated. Since those pictures its been lowered on Coilovers, will have to post some more pics up on here soon to compare how it looks now in regards to the pics above. Got big plans for it this year, would like to get it up to 400bhp, had it rolling roaded and its currently running at 316bhp, although I had no idea it would of been this much was expecting 275-290bhp (thought I had bought a standard JDM Sti but maybe some work had been done to it?

Yeah i've only seen one other Subaru around my area with the same wheels. Thought I would concentrate on the handling first so fitted front and rear strut braces and the coilovers. Starting to concentrate on performance now, so I started by fitting a do luck panel filter lol..... I suppose it all adds up though. Looking at getting a 3" decatted exhaust system and new headers when I get paid; Im hoping someone on here will be able to recommend me a twin scroll exhaust system and headers? You will have to excuse me being a new member; I'm sure its been discussed hundreds of times in other threads.
Thanks
Matt

Thanks mate, was going to try and get a set of prodrive pff7's instead in gold but the only second hand ones I could find were 114.3pcd. How much do you reckon the bbs ones are worth then?

I'm not sure on their value, depends on the buyer, but I not long got my hands on some after 3 years of searching! lol! They weigh in at only 7.2kg per wheel, which is pretty damn light, most after marker 17s struggle to get anywhere near that light without spending a fortune, so keep them

Not really needed as the body is pretty stiff on these, coilovers... hmmm never had an issue with my JDM twin scroll cars in the handling department

. Starting to concentrate on performance now, so I started by fitting a do luck panel filter lol.....
Your best off binning that piece of sh1te tbh

I suppose it all adds up though. Looking at getting a 3" decatted exhaust system
With a remap straight after I hope?

and new headers when I get paid; Im hoping someone on here will be able to recommend me a twin scroll exhaust system and headers? You will have to excuse me being a new member; I'm sure its been discussed hundreds of times in other threads.
Thanks
Matt
Why do you want to change the exhaust manifold? the one on your car is pretty much the best one it will ever have fitted, as for exhaust systems, H&S, Milltek, TSL etc, take your pick but not that many do decat downpipes or sports cats for twin scroll cars, and you dont need a 3 inch system, a 2.5 will suffice for your needs

Took me a while to find mine, 9.5kg for normal and 7.2kg for the BBS (they are also forged compared to the cast standard alloys)

Was looking into getting a blitz nur spec r system and a hayward and scott decat downpipe, then some lateral performance headers- u dont think its worth it then?

No, you can port your original headers, I dont know of any that are superior to the quality of the subaru ones (most will split along time before the subaru ones give up the ghost and if you see how many people run the standard headers on 500+bhp cars you may be impressed ) and no, not worth it

Leave the headers alone, bin the do luck filter (as Tony said) & H&S do a decat down pipe & so do Miltek IIRC. Nice car & especially like the wheels

Superb car.

I suspect my jdm is running slightly over 300bhp too and it's pretty much standard, just based on having many imprezas and knowing their power etc. Just feels quick for a STD car.

Can I have your wheels pleeeeeease? Haha

There is nothing wrong with O/E Subaru twin scroll header system. The earliest twin scroll cars we saw had room for some small improvements in porting but since then the quality and design of the O/E twin scroll is as good as it gets so do not waste your money.
Personally I would go for a total decat and because there is little cost difference between 2.5 and 3" systems I would go 3" although the smaller system is good to a long way past 400 bhp.

I've just been in touch with Ian at Hayward and Scott with regards to a twin scroll decat downpipe, he states that because my car is an earlier jdm model it could possibly be a single scroll; so without sounding like a dummy, even though now I probably have, how can I tell if it is single/twin scroll? I don't want to order the wrong part lol!

I would have thought this car was single scroll too!
