Not so much as 'pre-scoob' car (don't have one - or should that be - ) but more current car. Please don't laugh
The only difference now is that some ******* nicked my wheels at the weekend Had them on two weeks (got them off a mate, used) and I had just had them painted anthracite. 8.5 x 19 MM Evos, Pirelli rubber - R.I.P. As well as taking the beesting aerial they have also succeeded in arsing up both sills - now heavily dented due to the blocks that were used to prop the car up. Which, incidently, werent balanced out, so the front discs were on the ground - god knows how much weight or what kind of impact they suffered.
This car has been cursed so hopefully it will soon belong to someone else - making way for something a bit more performance oriented - if the scum try and touch that I'll nail them to the wall by their ***** and cut their spam javelins off. Peasant ****s.

Great pics guys keep em coming
Rich D - Aye mate, seen very few Mk1's about as you say most were Mk2. Think there were only a few hundred. The Mk1 was a bit twitchy supposedly and was rectified in the Mk2 but I never had any probs and that thing would corner as fast as a standard scoob plus the brakes were heaps better than my MY99 4 pots!!!!! Miss it, but the scoob more than makes up for it!!!
Mine had sunroof in leiu of air con, but I don't like air con anyway, and I had the bumpers fully coded which made it heaps better - was a black plastic strip in them before. I personally also prefer the shape of the Mk1, and in GTi form looked much better - I did however fit Mk2 rear lights to it as they looked heaps better
Scooby Doo Blue - Alloys would have been next but then I got the scoob. They were never high on my list as I liked the alloys that it came with - back then it was only the GTi that had them unlike the last 306s where they were fitted to everything

bio - I had a 1.9 205 b4 the 306 . Wicked motor, loved it to bits and still miss it - I'd love a mint one as a fun car
Still like the way they look to this very day
