My progress!
In May I bought a '97 Type R, which apart from the Tein coilover suspension set-up was pretty much standard....
Since then I have de-stickered it and spent a bit of money getting it more to how I want it to look! I've bought Blitz exhaust and dump valve, Version 6 spoiler, Inovit Redline wheels, clear front and side indicators and mudflaps.
This is how she's looking today after a good clean

looking nice , i dont like the wrx stickers on type r s ,why do they put them on, you would want type r or sti at least.
i keep telling my mate gold wheels on white cars look good, the only thing i would change is the bumper and get a facelift one and while you are there the grill and crystals.

I would fit a V5/6 grill and a light tint to the front windows and then probably leave it at that. Be different - don't change the front bumper, otherwise it just becomes another V6 clone. I changed my front splitter and now I'm in two minds as to go back to an original.
