Default My new toy (Skoda Jokes welcome)

Hi all just had my new VRS CR170 dropped off for its 1st drive tomorrow, 0-60 in just over 8 sec and 50 MPG. Really pleased with it and a amazing deal (typical bad timing as I just spent a fortune on the weekend use Scooby but o well 0% saves me repair cost on my old Clio)

Skoda jokes are Welcome

Thanks

Dash is great, best part of the car I looked at the seat Leon FR which is a great looking car but the dash was shocking.

Dash looks really nice. All in all looks a cracker mate. I nearly bought the old 02 Vrs Octavia. But I'd always wanted an Impreza. Never know next time tho. If it had another Badge they would sell even more.

Who cares what it says. It's how the car is that matters. Going off this, you can't fault it!

Did you just come into a load of money or something?

RCM'ing your Scoob and now this? Fair play.

Just planning the bank job as we speak.

Had the money saved up for the Scooby early in the year but they were fully booked up. In that time I have killed my old banger (tdi clio 04) which had lots of issues so went car shopping for something sensible 6-7 K max and ended up buying this. 0% made the deal plus close to 5k off list price and a very good deal on the PX. Its going to be a long winter with lots of overtime but young and living at home has a few benefits (low bills and lots of stupid long hours)

Thanks for the comments, people at work are loving the Skoda jokes but that probably says more about their knowledge of cars than anything

Fair play mate. If I was at home I would have my mates M3 I've put in the Private For Sale Section. Mortgages and Crap. Stay at home as long as you can pal and Enjoy!

Lovely car

Only thing I miss about going from the vRS to the STI, is the size of the boot, you can fit a bus in there

I've got to have a diesel for my company car and the Octavia VRS is the only car on my shortlist. Just got to decide over DSG or not DSG!

Not yet, early October good things come to those that wait. Well that’s what i have told myself after spending the whole summer working 6 days a week with no hols .

What’s going on with scoobynet where have all the tossers gone ? i am starting to miss them

they can be remaped + remove the DPF and they put out 230bhp and better MPG 50 + keeping this standard

Thanks guys

i didnt like the dsg its a bloody good Automatic gearbox which makes the paddles seem a waste but it did work very well , and an extra £1000 which i didn’t have.
