Could I ask you guys to post up some pics of your window tints please?
I'm due to have mine done next week, and have semi asked for light smoke for the fronts and medium for the rears and a sun strip.

I'm just wondering if the different shades will go well or should I go for light smoke all round, light smoke is on the legal limit so I wont be going any darker on the fronts. I've seen lots of Scoobys with darker rears and they look pretty good.

This is on my 05 Impreza STI in wr blue, just for info.

as far as i understand it, my local place says:

light = 50% tint
medium = 35% tint
dark = 20% tint

these are the only ones he does / most common.

on my scoob i have 20% rears only which is in line with what the japs do, its exact same as my brothers newage imported with privacy glass as standard.

i had 50% front and 35% rear on my classic and the darker rear made the front look darker in some lights and would just give the police another excuse to pull you along with the loud exhaust.. i always recieved warnings to remove the fronts as they were on the border.

but if police are ok in your area, itll be fine, just worth noting.




p.s. the tyre pens can also be bought on ebay cheap
