She will be going for a good price, not a giveaway price but good for all the cash that has gone into her I dont think the new owner will be disappointed, I try to get my cars to a very high standard, though some of the bits (SPA gauges that are fitted) were not put in very well to start with
The climate control is great though

Nice looking spec c tony congrats on the new purchace. Noticed on another post that you were after a nice set of bbs rims, not sure if he still has them but RICKSTARR I think his user name is had a set of s204 (the blobeye model) alloys for sale a while back which would suit your car the nuts IMO, will try and dig the ad ou for you

I think I may be following in your footsteps Tony, going from a Spec C to a Type R & back to ???!!! lol Realisticaly though I think in approx 18 months I would'nt mind going to either a JDM Sti Blob or Hawkeye. I do like the Type R but for me its biggest short comming is the drivetrain, especially after comming from a hawkeye Spec C. The super slick 6 speed gearbox with its precise, quick gear change & how the diff, & engine match it so seamlessley is what the Newage Sti did a lot better IMO. I dont think there's much in it in terms of the engine & power, the brakes on the Type R can be upgraded & so can the suspension to stop the front end washing wide, but its really the gearbox; differential, (& diriveshafts/propshafts), clutch & engine all working with the gearbox so perfectly that I miss.

People say that the classics are "rawer", I wouldnt agree, I would say that they are just not as good a driving machine to the new age cars, I love the Type R she is a lovely machine but parked together, I just want to drive the Spec C, its just more forfilling if that makes sense
Did I mention you might miss the Spec C? though the type R is one you have to do really to apreciate the differences

What a nice pair you have there Tony.
I think that Newages look their best in white (especially STi's or variants of) and red, what toys are you investing in?

I am debating about what to do with the 'spare' set of S202 alloys that I have - have them refurbed and fitted to the Spec C or sell them either as is or refurbed then sell them?
I am not sure if they will suit the Spec C...
