Flap Draggin'
Decided that if I can't have performance, I'd have style instead.
It's been nothing but hassle so far, and I can't see it getting any easier TBH, but I just have to look at it to realise why I did it
4* of camber at the moment, going to lost some though as the top of the wheel sits too far into the arch I think.

Cheers guys
They're only 18", fronts are 8.5j and rear are 9.5j though.
Apart from having the dampers on the hardest setting and a little scrubbing when cornering hard, it handles great and sticks like glue with it being low and wide ;]
Exactly, it'd be a bit boring pointless if we all liked the same thing. And I will enjoy it :]
Whoooa, not quite that low, yet...
I'd be quite surprised too if the Feds came all the way across the Atlantic just to pull me over The rims do stick out, but the tread of the tyre is still covered by the arch and flaps.

if they are stiff flaps be careful you might rip em off,
a guy on here did it but his were fixed on that well to the wing it ripped his wing off,
i remember his post when i fitted mine and ripped one of my front ones off when reversing luckily mine werent fixed on as good, i cut mine then refiited them - no more horrible dragging noise when pulling onto my drive
ps how come youve only cambered the back, dont you get more understeer like that

They were kind of my gauge for lowering too, I just wanted it lowering enough to get them dragging ;]
Camber, erm, rears are only cambered to get them under the arches, fronts are cambered as far as the OEM camber bolts can, might have a fiddle with the coilovers' camber adjustable mounts later.
I maxed the front camber when I first fitted the wheels, before I fitted the coils and camber bolts in the rear, and it dramatically reduced the understeer I used to get, but as above, I don't drive it hard enough anymore to get understeer, so I don't notice anything.

Bioforger, you're exactly the reason people like me, Bockett, Budgie, inthoughtwelive etc do things like this, so I thank you ;]
And yes Stealth already managed to mangled one bracket months ago, and realistically I'll be even more cautious around kerbs than before now it's lowered.

Bockett, Budgie, inthoughtwelive's cars are really nice. Just something about yours that doesnt look right, its probably the flaps but then its your car so as long as your chuffed it doesnt matter if it looks terrible

Width is only about 0.5-1 inch difference front to rear, and I matched the rolling circumference of front and rear with the tyre sizes, so there's little to no difference there either.

Oops, sorry Wiley!
But I wouldn't be a flap-dragger if I removed them
I'd love more stretch on the front, but because the rears are 9.5j, the front are 8.5j and I had to keep the rolling circumference of the 2 as close as possible so as not to ruin the centre diff, that's what I ended up with. That was the cost effective way anyway, I could better match the stretch but the tyre size I'd need on the front are about £140 each ;]

Rear camber is a bit OTT I will admit, I didn't realise it was that bad til we'd finished messing around and got it off the lift, and by then I couldn't be bothered sorting it out. I do quite like it though because it's so OTT. I'll see how fast it eats tyres and review it then...
Knew someone else must like the flaps

(And no, this isn't a cue for you all to say it looked better like this (look at that arch gap! :O))
