Honestly don't know. Fancy a 4.4 litre X5 Sport can't really tell ya why as it'll probably cost more to run than the STi

Certainly won't go round corners like mine does, the suspension setup on mine is something i'm really happy with. Want more power (who doesn't) just a bit bored with it at the mo. Maybe someone will swap me for a Forged V5 RA or Type R

Keep it Boyd, nothing will come close in terms of handling and performance except for a trip to the darkside of Evo ownership.

If you are still looking for an MD321T have you considered a VF48 plus a few choice mods should see very similar results, have a look at my garage for a list of my forthcoming improvements.

We all get bored from time to time, I have seriously thought about changing the S202 for a UK STi Hawkeye or Hatchback but I am glad now that I didn't.

Hey Tyrone

Honestly never heard of a VF48 lol. Looking at your plans if sure will make one hell of a road car 400 Bhp in a lightweight sorted chassis will be one hell of a ride.

Belive it or not still not sorted the house out lost our buyer on the day we received the exchange of contract stage

Considered a MR FQ340 but they really don't float my boat.

Know what ya mean about the handling and acceleration etc, but i'm not entirely sure thats what i'm fed up with. I think i want a easier drive!! But knowing me i'll be bored to death with it within a week and looking for another scooby

I had never heard of the VF48 until I started looking for an upgrade for the VF34, it is used on the Hatchback STi, I bought it for a steal and then had it sent away and overhauled - it cost me £580in total but I have an essentially new and warranted turbo for that price.

Everything else on the upcoming list I have just managed to buy at the right price so I have been fairly lucky in that respect.

Sorry to hear about the house sale falling through, it really p1$$es me off when that happens but so many house sales now fall through right at the last minute.

I know what you mean about Evo's I saw a red FQ360 the other day and thought "Yeah I could see myself in one of them" and then I saw a custard yellow FQ320 and soon came to my senses.

Have you thought about a BMW 330/335D or an Audi A4 3.0TDi, they are both getting quite easy to get hold of and are usually highly specified and with a new map can really give an Impreza or Evo a real scare on the road.

The VF48 sounds like quite a bargain M8. Maybe look into it if i decide to keep it. Although Zak @ Mocom has said i can have his old MD321T & GT Spec II Headers at a really good price even got free fitting thrown in Mapping extra though lol.

Have thought about a big diesel, quite like the idea of 450-500 Ft Lbs from one of them. BMW being rear wheel drive also makes it tempting, although I remember reading a review of a 330D when they first came out and remember the line...."Has less grip than Bambi on ice with the traction control turned off in the wet"
