Update on MY05 STi PPP
Bit of an update guys.
Had the car for a good while now and am still grinning from ear to ear, even more so after I fitted the new exhaust.
So that was the first mod, changing the existing Prodrive exhaust for a Blitz Nur Spec R.
Arrival of the Nur Spec R
Up on the ramps at a local place, only charged £50 for fitting and took approx 30 mins
Before
After
The size suits the car to a tee and looks lovely when polished up
Before and After Video (yes it was warmed up!)

Next mod was changing the huge front numberplate for something a bit more subtle.
Before
After
Then I went a bit gay and bought a pink front badge..
Then a couple more....
Leaving the engine bay a bit more colourful
Then arrived my front splitter....
Fitted and transforms the front of the car
Front of car before minus the badge, plate and splitter
And after
Next on the list is
+ Detango the front lights
+ Polish the gearknob
+ Mop the entire car
+ Remove car park dents left from previous owner
+ Spray various black plastic engine bits in WRB
+ Yellow plastic parts in engine to be turned pink (maybe)
Best thing about all the above is that it won't cost a penny as it will all be done at home
/edit: Need to also getting some lowering springs!
Anyone recommend anything in particular, was considering the Tein S Tech kit as its a nice 35/25mm drop front/rear, the Whiteline Flatout is around 50mm and i'm wondering whether that is a bit too much and may start rubbing on bumps?

Looking good mate..... very tidy
Definitely detango it and (maybe) debadge the back end.....
Depending on the condition of your suspension it might be more cost effective to get yourself some BC's and have the adjustability of coilovers.

Thanks, sorry about the last pic, the weather wasn't great!
As for suspension, BCs are going to cost me considerably more seeing as the Tein springs are only £170 odd plus cost of fitting and geo. What other advantages would having the coilovers give me other than tweaking the height even further?

Nur Spec R, so its from catback. Have got some great advice from a fellow scooby friend on another forum but if anyone has a list of things I can have a play with and suggest I do on my car the please feel free.
Braided hoses are going on soon as are perhaps a change of discs (may keep the actual calipers standard).

Looking good. Deffinitely detango and spray the inner reflective surface.
Had Teins on my last 3 Imprezas and they are are spot on for appearance.
Polish the gearknob ?????

Ok sounds good, who did you get your springs from and how much am I expected for fitting and geo? Recommend anywhere south/middle england?
As for the gearknob, it's a ally Prodrive one but it just needs polishing because there are some marks on it, presumably from wearing rings etc.

Fitting - I did it myself but probably about £150-£200 labour.
Geo - £80-£100
Are you near Powerstation?

Not near Powerstation and its not the first time it's been recommended, think I need to take a trip down How long did it take you to fit yourself and is it a very complex task?
/edit: I've just read an installation guide, think I best leave it to the pros. Whilst they are down there I may as well get new discs, pads and braided hoses on too.

Def get a specialist to do it mate, if you are even slightly unsure on how to do it. You need the right tools for a start (e.g spring compressor, ramp ideally). The geo needs to be reset anyway, so might as well get that done at the sametime. Powerstation are very good at this as it's their main speciality.
Other bits get yourself a Prodrive **** (u can get them in silver)
Strutbrace
Oh has it been PPP'd? or been remapped by a pro? Makes a big difference if not and you'll see circa 330bhp
